I haven’t done a current crush post in a while (I should start  restocking my beautiful boys folder on my laptop) My latest one is a tad different from the rest, but HEY I CANT HELP MY FEELINGS, K? So, it’s Harry Styles from One Direction.

Pretty In Pink

I've been a terrible blogger once again. Sorry guys. I promise I'll be better from now on. I've also managed to severely neglect my photo a day project. Eh. I've been rather busy, I enjoyed my 3 month long holiday, went back to college and got two brand spanking new tattoos. Both of them are done by the incredible Waldo Del Rocca at Cape Electric Tattoo. The man is king.

Today's post : Something that makes me smile. When I was in hospital 2 years ago one of my best friends was real creative and awesome and made me miniature cut-outs of some of my celeb crushes. What a doll. I obvs still have them. They are displayed on my bookshelf and they do indeed make me smile, daily.

NEW HAIR.

In other unrelated news, I no longer have red hair. I stripped it, and I'm going to dye it light brown and dip-dye my ends a really light blonde. It feels like the end of an era, but I'm excited to be blonde again. Will obvs upload a pic when I've completed my hair transformation.

Stan1 Music Video Shoot

I recently worked/did the styling and make-up on a Music Video for Stan1, an up and coming artist, for his tune Cape Town Takeover. It was an amazing three days, with an incredible crew. The video will air pretty soon on Channel O, Mtv Base and MK. Keep y'er peepers on the lookout.

When news broke on Saturday that Amy Winehouse passed away, admittedly I cried. I always loved her music and I was hoping for the new album's release, but alas. Such a great talent gone in an instant. Now I can never listen to "Love Is A Losing Game" without crying.

Current Crush #2

I recently got into the series Game Of Thrones. It sounds geeky, but believe me once you witness the hotness that is Jon Snow, you will die.






I know. Once again he was the reason (apart from the storyline, violence and ridic sex scenes) that I finished the entire season in about 24 hours.

Oh and in the first episode... the shaving scene. thank me later.



He's a sword wielding, fur wearing, wolf owning beauty. Yes, he has a wolf as a pet. SWOON.

Favourite.

It may sound silly, but I am addicted to lipstick. Yep, I said it. Every shade, every colour. I've reached the stage where I feel naked without it. Yes, sometimes I even sleep with lipstick on. True story. My current favourite is actually one I found in a bargain bin in Clicks. It's called Beaute, and my favourite shades are Tangerine and Chilli.


If you see me in public without lipstick, feel honoured.

My first current crush is Darren Criss aka Blaine from Glee. He made watching Glee season 2 even more enjoyable (if that's possible?)And he was the actual reason why I finished the entire season in 24h. True story. A beautiful boy that can sing? INTRODUCE ME NOW.

White girl problems.

Yes, I'm broke. And yes I know it's only the 20th of the month. I'm bordering on depression due to the lack of new material things in my life. It's been 4 months since I've gone shopping or bought anything new. Gawd. All I want is a pack of cigarettes, airtime and maybe a pair of these ?

Due to some financial difficulties  I only got my paws on Lady Gaga's new cd yesterday. (Thank you, Marce.)
I have been listening to it non stop since. Seriously.
And practising my singing in the bathroom mirror non stop.
